This is what happens when a PR plan is not developed with a strategic plan and approach. Why do brands make promises that they can’t keep or worst over extend an offering? The truth is, if it sounds too good to be true it likely is.
Walt Disney Company has decided to refund “Baby Einstein” videos that did not turn babies into geniuses. Now, I never thought for one single minute that there was such a video! Marketing a product as a control substance for babies?? Did parents actually think this false hope and belief was real?
We actually did purchase Baby Einstein videos but I am not going to request a refund. Too close to call, I hope my baby now four grows up to be super smart!
Hey, Disney we will take a vacation package instead.
