Child Health Ants On A Log Recipe

Here’s a great summer snack for kids that is delicious and healthy. They love to make it almost as much as they love eating it! It not only satisfies your child’s sweet tooth, but it also gives them the energy they need to play all day!

       Celery stems are an excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, B6 and C with rich supplies of potassium, folic acid, calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, sodium and plenty essential amino acids. Peanut butter is loaded with protein and “good” fats, and raisins contain fiber, anti-oxidants and help with bone growth.


What you will need:
     1. Celery stems cut into 4 inch pieces
     2. Peanut Butter
     3.Raisins
      Directions: Smear a yummy heap of peanut butter on the hollow inside part of the cut celery. Make sure you use a plastic butter knife for child safety reasons. Then take your “ants”, aka raisins, and sprinkle them on the peanut butter. Final and most important step… smile, giggle and enjoy!
