Walmart just created the baby registry of our dreams, so start believing that dreams do and can always come true!

Meet Hoo The Owl, an AI (Artificial Intelligence) kinda genius designed to help “parents expecting a new bundle of joy” with creating the ultimate baby registry experience using the app or online.

For example, registrants can initiate returns online, share the registry with friends and family, and use Siri to open the registry. Meanwhile, gift-givers can use the app to shop the registry, search for in-store availability, and scan a store receipt to mark items as purchased.

“We all know just how tremendously overwhelming, setting up a new baby registry can really be when expecting a new baby!”

No matter or not, if this is your very first baby or you are a seasoned pro by now.

Hoo will surely become your very best friend by simplifying setting up a customized baby registry fast and simple.

This feature contains affiliate marketing links and we receive a commission for purchases made from our site. All recommendations are trusted and reviewed by our editorial team.

Much better than having a personal assistant, Hoo knows all the right questions to ask for making the “planning process easier” when it comes to setting up the best baby registry designed to fit lifestyle needs.

One of these best features we love is the option to Add New Brands to Registry!

Walmart started listing thousands of new items to Walmart.com over the past year, including products from BOB, Jujube, nanobébé*, Owlet, and Hello Bello*. They also added new brands like Chicco, Monbébé, Britax and the Halo Bassinest, including an in-store experience in more than 2,000 stores which gives customers the chance to test out key baby items in-store!

If customers want to add items to their registries while in-store, they can do so using the Walmart App.

Hoo is so super smart, even celebrity parents and baby experts can take advice from this owl!

Here is how easy it is to get started.

First, Hoo the Owl starts by asking parents questions, including the due date, gender (or gender neutral), state and preferred nursery theme, in a fun and engaging way, etc.

Based on the answers to these questions, Hoo then pre-populates your baby registry with items personalized to baby’s gender and the registrant’s preferred nursery theme.

For example, if an expecting parent chooses the modern grey nursery theme, the “Chicco KeyFit 30 Infant Car Seat in Orion grey” may be incorporated into their list.

Hoo styles and customize your baby registry perfectly!

In the coming months, Hoo will also ask additional questions, such as organic and sustainable product preferences, to provide an even more personalized experience.

Walmart is introducing four new nursery themes woodland, modern options for baby boy and baby girl, and a classic gender-neutral option.
These nursery themes join boho chic, modern grey and classic options for baby boy and baby girl, for a total of eight themes to choose from.

Go to the Walmart app or the Walmart.com baby registry page, where you can update your gift registry by adding or removing items and even see how many items from your registry have already been purchased.
