Spring Flowers are multi-brand boutiques carrying only luxury clothing, shoes and accessories for boys and girls, newborn to size 16 years. The boutiques feature the finest European brands such as Fleurisse, Léon, I Pinco Pallino, Simonetta, Dior, Il Gufo and Moncler. An extensive collection of Italian shoes and boots is also an integral component of the complete offering.

Spring Flowers is known as the place to put together a well-heeled child’s wardrobe. Not only does it provide everything from casual wear to underwear to socks to coats and dresses, but spectacular pieces for special events such as weddings and black tie galas are also available. If you love shoes, they have the finest shoes too!

Most of the shoes are made by highly regarded craftsmen in Italy. They have generations of experience creating shoes that provide maximum comfort and that encourage the natural movement of children’s feet. Spring Flowers has it all from crib shoes, to moccasins, to dressy step-ins for girls and lace-ups for boys to fashionable boots and sandals.

Spring Flowers was founded in New York City in 1983 by Maria Flieger. A pioneer in many regards, Mrs. Flieger grew up in Europe and traveled extensively around the globe. In 1981, she moved from Spain’s luxury resort town, Marbella to Manhattan’s Upper East Side with her husband and three children. Her extensive background in the retail industry enabled her to identify a gap in the children’s fashion market in America.

Mrs. Flieger was one of the first to import European clothing and shoes for children into the United States. In the early 1980s, Americans did not dress up their children as the Europeans did. Mrs. Flieger knew however that her concept would win over her customers with its beautiful garments, impeccable presentation and outstanding customer service.

The founder’s vision was indeed successfully realized. By catering to a discerning clientele, including royalty and celebrities, Spring Flowers has grown to four boutiques in the United States. Spring Flowers is still run by the founder. She is now joined in the business by her son and two daughters.

As for the company’s name, Mrs. Flieger looked to her then three very young children for inspiration:"Children are like spring flowers. They’re full of life, beautiful and put a smile on our faces. My children are my spring flowers."
